Bridge

A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth, it is cemented in place and non-removable. It consists of artificial teeth, known as pontics, that are anchored in place by dental crowns or implants placed on either side of the missing tooth space. Dental bridges restore chewing function, improve appearance, maintain facial structure, may improve speech, long-lasting, and preserve bite and jaw alignment. It is important to note that dental bridges require healthy adjacent teeth or dental implants to support the bridge structure. Regular oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and professional cleanings, are essential to maintain the health of the supporting teeth and longevity of the bridge. Dr. Jessica can assess your oral health, discuss all available treatment options, and guide you towards the most suitable choice for your situation.
